Change is in the Air this September 🍂

This September, our studio welcomes fresh energy and new beginnings! We're adding another Stretch & Mobility class (formerly Deep Stretch) designed to release tension and increase range of motion. You’ll also see a few teacher and class temperature changes. We are excited to offer a variety of special workshops this month, including two with Tias Little, an Inversions workshop with Danielle, a soothing Restorative + Sound Healing session with Kristine, and a Prenatal Yoga series designed to nurture and empower expecting parents.

Tias Little: Yoga and Myofascial Release

Join renowned teacher Tias Little for a deep, therapeutic evening exploring the body's connective tissue—fascia, the web that holds us together. Through gentle asana and somatic movements (SATYA), you’ll unwind tension in the hips, sacrum, and lower back while enhancing the flow of blood and nerve pathways.

This practice invites you to slow down, release deeply held tension, and restore balance from the inside out.

Tias Little: Unlocking the Power of the Spine

Your spine is more than structure, it's a gateway to strength, freedom, and energy flow. In this deep and specialized workshop with Tias Little, explore spinal health from both anatomical and energetic perspectives.

Through core work, twists, and side bends, we’ll mobilize the deep muscles, tendons, and discs that support and protect the spine. As the body aligns, the central channel of prana, the subtle energy that rises from root to crown is gently awakened.

This 6-week prenatal series offers a supportive space to connect with your body, breath, and growing baby. Each 75-minute class includes gentle movement, breathwork, and restorative postures tailored to the changing needs of pregnancy. All levels and stages welcome.

Inversion Workshop with Danielle

Greener Postures Yoga – South Portland Studio

Join Danielle for a two-hour exploration of yoga inversions designed to help you build strength, confidence, and clarity as you move toward going upside down. Whether you're new to inversions or looking to refine your practice, this workshop offers a supportive and structured approach to poses like headstand, forearm stand, and handstand.

We'll use props and wall support to develop body awareness, refine alignment, and explore progressive entry points into various inversion shapes. Modifications and options will be provided based on experience level.

Note: This workshop is for regular yoga practitioners. No acute injuries, please.

 

New Class: Stretch & Mobility with Kate Baldacci
Thursdays • 10:30–11:30 AM
Falmouth Studio

Formerly known as Deep Stretch, this new class blends stretching, mindful movement, and self-massage to improve flexibility, posture, and joint mobility.

Expect a mix of dynamic and static stretches, supported by props like blocks, straps, bands, bolsters, and massage balls.

Ideal for all levels whether you're recovering, an athlete, aging gracefully, or just looking to move better.

All props provided.
