Kate began practicing yoga in 2005 to increase her flexibility and supplement her active physical lifestyle. Like many before her, she found the practice offered much more than the physical benefits and she found herself taking the flexibility, compassion and empowerment she experienced on the mat with her into other aspects of daily life.
Kate is a graduate of the 4 Pillars of Freedom Teacher Training through Inner Strength studios and the Om Births Prenatal Teacher Training. She is a Yoga Tune Up® certified instructor and uses that format to educate practitioners about their body biomechanics and how they can eradicate pain, improve posture and enhance performance to live better in their bodies. Most of her classes also include an aspect of self-myofascial release using therapy balls.
Kate's yoga practice allowed her to experience pregnancy and childbirth (several times!) with gratitude and ease, and she is honored to help others connect to their body, mind and growing families.
