Thanksgiving Donation Class with Visiting Teacher Conor Byrnes for Sea Change Yoga

Join Conor Byrnes for a class supporting Sea Change Yoga, a Maine nonprofit dedicated to increasing access to healing-centered yoga for people on the margins. 100% of proceeds go toward making yoga freely available to folks navigating recovery, incarceration, displacement, and trauma. Plan on movement and stillness, wear clothes you can flow in and enjoy this visiting Jivamukti instructor.
The session will be a dynamic exploration of asana as vehicles for arriving to and harmonizing with elemental forces. Through this harmonization of the elements, we realize yoga, our inseparability from all of life, our oneness with nature. We’re collecting food donations at both of our yoga studio locations in support of The Locker Project, which helps provide food for local children and families. You’ll find donation boxes in each lobby—please bring newly purchased, non-glass items such as mac & cheese, microwaveable meals, canned chicken or tuna, pasta, rice, peanut butter, single-serve cereals, or healthy snacks.

Expecting a baby? Join other parents-to-be for a supportive workshop designed to prepare your body and mind for labor, delivery, and the postpartum period. Learn practical tools to help you feel confident and calm throughout the birth process.
In this workshop, you’ll learn:
Yoga postures to support labor and delivery
Visualization and breathing techniques for relaxation and focus
Partner massage tools to ease stress and discomfort
Our prenatal yoga instructor, Abby, will guide you and your birth partner with hands-on demonstrations and supportive instruction. It’s also a great opportunity to connect with other expectant parents.

Open to all stages of pregnancy; no yoga experience needed
One mat per pregnant participant + partner
Wear comfortable clothing and bring water
Partners or alternate support people are welcome
Pass covers both expecting parent and partner; only the pregnant participant needs to preregister

Emily will enhance the experience with sound healing, creating gentle vibrations that invite your nervous system into a state of deep relaxation and restoration. This slower-paced practice culminates in an extended, blissful savasana—an opportunity to fully surrender and recharge during the holiday season.
