Join Cara Lyon, PT DPT, from Cara Lyon PT for an evening dedicated to the pelvic floor. What is the pelvic floor, why do we need to be able to strengthen and lengthen this part of our body? How we can reconnect and retrain our pelvic floor to support us in day to day activities and through our life phases. What special considerations do we have like post- injury or post partum? Plan on discussion and lecture around the anatomy, movement patterns and some issues with the pelvic floor. The workshop will incorporate light movement and breathwork and have time for questions and answers.
Plan on wearing comfortable clothes and bring a practice mat (we rent them for $2 if needed) and water if you'd like. We have the rest of the props you may need. Cara will provide a hand out, so bring a pen if you want to take notes.
