We finally have Sagel Urlacher and her Yin class in South Portland! Starting Friday, September 5 at 2:15pm, she will offer a weekly 75 minute Yin class. This is a great compliment to your vinyasa practice as it targets the fascia around the muscle. It uses stillness to strengthen, lengthen, and hydrate our deep connective Yin tissues in the legs, hips, pelvis, and spine, keeping our bodies flexible and mobile.
GPY is excited to offer a second monthly Advance Your Postures class as well. This one will be in West Falmouth on the third Sunday of each month, taught by Gretchen Campos, from 12:30-2pm. Advanced classes are a chance to play and explore some more challenging poses and sequences but its not meant to intimidate or frustrate. We suggest at least 6 months of regular practice before attending an advanced class. The first class will be Sunday, September 21.
Come on in! We love to have new students to our two beautiful studios. We offer over 80 drop in classes per week to fit any schedule and our signature class is a heated vinyasa (flow) class. Our goal is to de-stress you, open up your body, connect to the present moment and move. If you are brand new to yoga the Fundamentals class and Community class are a great stepping stone to our all-levels classes.

For your first class plan on coming 15 minutes early and we always offer a mat, towel and water to new students on their first class. Our new student discounted packages ($60 for a monthly unlimited OR $30 for two week unlimited) are available the first time you buy a package. This is a great way to connect with the Greener Postures community.
