Sarah Perkins

Sarah first stepped onto the mat in 2011 in search of a new addition to her workout routine. Although it was her passion for movement that led her to her practice, it is the peace and serenity she found that kept her coming back. She is drawn to both the Yin and Yang of yoga and has utilized both sides of the practice throughout different seasons of her life. Sarah strives to honor the origins of yoga by emphasizing mindfulness, alignment, and connection to breath. In her classes you can expect a balance of strength and grace. Sarah completed her 200 hour training with Ame Wren and really took to her light-hearted yet specific approach to an asana practice. She also studied under Terry Cockburn, who taught her everything she knows about Yin Yoga and the reason why it has such a strong presence in her life. During her training her fascination with the human body deepened and her passion for the practice grew stronger. Her hope, as a teacher, is to spread the joy yoga has brought to her life with her students.
