Nichole found yoga in 2009. Admittedly, first, to gain the affections of her now-husband. "I’m not sure which one I fell in love with first, my husband or yoga." Nichole attended her 200 hour RYT teacher training in 2012, instructed by Alice Riccardi. Nichole’s initial goal was going deeper within her own practice but she quickly fell in love with the teaching aspect. After the birth of her daughter, yoga became more important to Nichole as she battled with postpartum depression and anxiety. She saw how yoga helped her through a difficult time and wants to help connect others to yoga.
In 2014 Nichole completed training with Child Light Yoga, which married her masters in Educational Psychology with her love of yoga. "Teaching children yoga is one of my greatest passions. To see a room full of 'off the wall' kids end class in a relaxed brief meditation is one my most rewarding experiences." In 2015, Nichole completed yin yoga training with Sagel Urlacher through the Meditative Yin Yoga Teacher Training. "Yin yoga was the very first place where I realized I could relax my body. It has done wonders for me mentally and physically and I love to bring that to others."
