Elizabeth began using yoga as a tool for fitness in high school, but it wasn’t until she started practicing for her soul that she found what a spiritual and healing practice it can be. She now views yoga as a way of life. Her energizing yet soulful sequences focus on honoring the sacredness within and aim to cultivate a connection with the self. Her flows often tap into heart expansion and encourage inner confidence. She works to create a judgement free environment centered around empowerment and choice.
Elizabeth has a Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of New England. Her yoga training includes Yoga for Trauma through Greener Postures, Yoga for Recovery through Sea Change Yoga, and Yoga for Depression and Anxiety through Kripalu with Amy Weintraub. Elizabeth completed her 200 hour, Yoga Alliance approved teaching training with Jennie Farrare at Magnolia Fitness. She is so grateful for the many teachers in her life including Jennie Farrare, Bethany McCorkle, Heidi McVane and Lauren Strait.
Elizabeth loves the energetic exchange of yoga and is honored to be able to practice and raise her family in Southern Maine.
