Psoas stories, mobility versus strength, to open or close the pelvis... there are a lot of opinions in the modern yoga and anatomy world about what is most beneficial for the large muscles of the hips. Let's talk about it. This workshop will be part practice, part discussion, part experimentation. You'll learn about the current controversies and their origins and how there is never only one way to do any yoga pose. Please have a general understanding of the bones & muscles of the pelvis & legs and come with any questions you may have.

The way of an experienced teacher is one of simplicity. The longer you teach, the more this rings true. This workshop will include a brief practice, a lengthy discussion on simple but effective sequencing & language and some interactive work to practice your new skills (along with some gentle but honest feedback).
